I was thinking about it last night. I think International has a straight 6-cylinder that is a size down from a DT466 that ougth to fit rigth in there? After all the problems of the super complex 6.0 why would Ford want something even more complex? You'd think they'd see the success we've had keeping it simple with 6-cylinder Cummins' all these years and learn something from that. I feel sorry for the poor people who buy that 6.4L.

When I was signing up for classes at UTI in Avondale, AZ for automotive industrial diesel, the guy kept trying to push the Ford Fact program, where when I get done with school I'd go to the ford program and work at a ford dealer... I finally got so mad, I said unless they have a Cummins FACT program, I don't want to hear ford again....

Well look at it this way, working at the Ford dealer means job security, especially with the 6.4L on the way!

Till ford lays me off because of lemon law, law causes and have to cut way back. If this motor is a flop, Ford Diesels are going to be in big trouble.

I've already touched and test drove an 07 Chasis cab with the 6 speed stick. The engine has plenty of pep and sounds sweet. I can't wait to order either the Chasis Cab or an 07.5 3500 or even a 4500 with the AISIN 6speed auto.

That's a nice looking truck, but you still couldn't pay me to drive it. Well let me rephrase that, I wouldn't mind being the guy in that drivers seat, i'd blow that engine to all hell and back.

talking about UTI, there is a factory backed certified Cummins program being started at the AZ campus, 12 week program will have you certified on all the Cummins engines, suppose to be ready and going by the first of the year.

They might be able to add another sensor to log how many times it breaks down a day but i doubt it theres just no room for any more sensors

Tops of the pistons look like 2gen 24v cummins, wrist pis are thin walled but larger, I think (just observation from the provided pictures) that it is going to crash and burn. That mechanics and electronics are Waayyy over complicated for the job it has to do (run the truck). Oil cooler for the turbos on top of motor looks like the one in our block, I just cant get over the complexity. Its like they have sensors to check up on sensors. Which all are need to get the thing to run, I dont know man, an Old guy at work once told me "You can Polish a Turd"...... no you cant.
