Any ideas, My truck has always had a slight noise in 5th gear since it was new. Today pulling my camper it has now become considerably louder. The truck has 72,500 miles on it. I took it in at 13,000 miles for the noise issue but the Dealer said that they couldn't hear anything abnormal. The service manager at the dealer said he would note that the truck was brought in for a noise issue at 13,000 for later reference. Any ideas of what this noise could be. I'm hoping Dodge might cover it since its so close to the 70,0000 mile limit on the warranty.

 

Anybody ? Driving today with the windows down it has a clattering noise in fifth gear along with the growl.

 

I have the same problem but mine was looked at, at 40,000 and I am at 120,000 now and no change.
