I get my analysis done with the Genos kits - Monitor Labs which is actually Polaris Labs - my come back <.5% and sometimes just say .5%

I too would have them state on my receipt that your percentage is OK per DC. Cover your butt because even if you go out of your warranty, that information just might have them pick up the bill BECAUSE of their error or bad judgement and advice to you.

Dont you have 136K warranty actually. Dodge warranties the truck for the first 36K THEN Cummins has a 100K, that equals 136K.

This is a very good idea, thanks.

They did give me a copy of my work order with the 'complaint' and the 'solution' in print. It's filled for the future .

The Cummins engine warranty is good for 100,000 miles/7 yrs. Bumper to Bumper is up to 36,000 miles/3 yrs. You don't combine the two. At that mileage/#years is when that particular warranty is good for.

In the coast guard we only allow 5% at the max. we usually change the oil at 3.5%. I would take it back to the dealer and make them fix it. 5% is bad anything over that, there is a increase risk of a crank case explosion. I have seen one of these, you dont want to be near that truck is that happens. Either change your oil and see if it happens again or do what was said earier, have everything the dealership says in writing.

I haven't found one. I do all my own maintenance because you just can't trust anyone to do as good of a job as you expect.
