So, the other day i found myself stuck in a little ditch and when I engaged my 4x4 the front tires still wouldn't spin. (manual t-case).. Any help would be appreciated!

Also noticed no 4x4 light came on the dash

 

Only problem I can think of is the rod from the shifter to the t-case came off or broke.

 

rod is still connected... it engages in the tcase you can defenitly tell.... i tested it out in 4 low it took off in 6th gear without any gas lol and you can hear it engage, but the front wheels just dont spin, its like the front axle isnt engaging

 

Is the driveshaft spinning?
