Hi, I need to replace the valve body on my 48re and I was wondering if you guys could recommend a couple of good brands out there on the market. I've read about Goerend, Suncoast, BD etc. and I need more opinions on how to go about purchasing a VB without breaking the bank but to last for a couple of years when I plan on upgrading the whole tranny. Thanks.

 

The big thing you need to consider is the stock transmission can't hold up to a performance valve body. Goerend will setup a valve body for a stock transmission just give Dave a call. I know his price is competitive and the quality can't be beat.

 

Thank you BWT, I am considering Goerend even if the price is a little higher than I can pay right now. Any other opinions out there?
