I have installed this B&D Diesel supplied upgrade for the 48RE Transmission many times. The new Transducer and increased reliability of the Borg Warner Solenoid make very noticeable improvements in the transmission shifting under all loads. There is a small modification that must be done to the retention bracket and an additional pigtail wiring harness must be added to convert the stock transducer plug over to the new Transducer.
