In my 04.5 my transmisson all of a sudden now has decided it does not want to shift into 2nd gear. It is not hunting to find what gear it wants to go into as i have expirenced this with my wifes 07. If I acclerate slowly it will rev to 2200 before it will shift into 2nd if I acclerate hard it will not shift into 2nd till 2700 rpms and then it slams into 2nd like a race car. When the trans shifts to 3rd and overdrive it shifts fine. I have taken my edge chip off to see if it makes any difference and it still does the same thing. The truck has 77000 miles on it and I serviced the tranny out at 60000 miles and adjusted the bands. Anybody have any suggestions?

I agree. Mine did the same thing. Changed out the sensor and solonoid and solved the problem. Took 20 minutes. parts cost about $60 each online.
