Dead pedal success story...

My story is probably similar to others, but I wanted to throw it down here for those who've never had the problem or are wondering how things go afterward.

Anyway, I first had the dead pedal about a year ago. I read the codes on my Bully Dog, recorded them, and erased them. For several months I didn't have the problem again and the code never popped up either.

Recently, I started having the dead pedal again (about a month or so ago) and remembered about www.dodgecumminsapps.com referenced and recommended here and other Dodge diesel sites; but remained a bit skeptical and got worried I was going to have to shell out lots of money.

I cleared the codes again and again ran the truck trouble-free until about a week or so ago. This was when I decided that I was going to bite the bullet and get the apps after-market based on this and other site's recommendations. Boy am I glad I did!

The procedure took me about 1 hour (because I was taking my time with NOT stripping any screws), upon calibration check needed no adjustment, and worked perfectly the first time I started up the truck again.

So, in conclusion, thanks to all who came before me and recommended this resource for the apps; and thanks to all who communicated the successes of it before I had to install it!
