Unhappy 48re slipping after fluid & filter change?

Did the fluid and filter last week. Old fluid looked ok, not burnt but a thick coat of metal dust on the pan magnet. Truck is at 58,200mls. I added 7qts to refill and that took the fluid level to the max fill line on the dipstick. I've check it a few times, on level ground in my garage, truck up to temp, in N, parking brake on, truck running. The slipping isn't noticeable when I accelerate from a stop in my normal grandma pace in OD with the truck shifting around 15-1600 from 1st to 2nd. But if I get on it from a stop the rpm climb up to 19-2000. The only other thing that isn't quite on the money is the gear selector on the dash doesn't always want to get into Park. It isn't all the time but enough that it is on my radar. I figured I bumped the tranny selector sensor thingy when I swap out the filter. Edit to add: the only other pertinent info, I pulled the pan about 430pm and the tranny dripped until around 8-830pm since I had to weld the drain nut to the pan and do that. Could I have lost more than normal pan drop? Even if the dipstick shows max full now??

Don't know if it is all in my head or what. Is there anything I can do at this point? Just drive it 'til it breaks.

I'm gonna go drive around some more.

You refilled with +4 and not a universal or other fluid ?

Yeah Valvoline ATF+4. I think I'm paranoid. Gotta be. Took the truck for a good spin and it shifts fine. Maybe I'm mistaken about how it drove before. I'll just keep an eye on it and I'm sure as I drive more miles I'll get settled in for peace of mind. It won't hurt to keep putting that payment in the savings account for the "repair fund"

Sounds normal to me. These torque converters are too loose in my opinion.
