48RE rebuild questions

OK, now that I have the cold start issue fixed with new injectors it's time to focus on the next set of upgrades, rebuild the transmission, new torque converter, and improved valve body. I have been looking around and the only stuff that really stands out as solid replacements are from ATS Diesel. Was thinking of going with their master rebuild kit, towing valve body, and the Triple Lock Torque Converter. I'm really just looking for suggestions, ideas, if anybody has run these parts on their trucks, and what they thought of them. My truck is an '03 2500 with 175,000 miles.

Was told that ATS and Suncoast was too firm for the average person. My stock tranny chucked, and my guy put Goerend stuff in. Firm, but won't snap your neck. Good luck.
