48re problems???

Looking for some help and to see if anyone else has had similar issues. This past weekend, pulling a 3K dove tail trailer with a JD 4310 loaded, I would notice that my transmission would seam to slip. I was in OD doing about 70, and when I would put my foot into it to keep speed going up hills, I would notice a slip and it felt like the motor wasn't putting the power it was making to the ground.

One guy told me my TQ converter was slipping, and another told me it was my clutches that were slipping. I thought the TQ was locked when in OD? Any thoughts?

If may suggest... Give Dave Goerend a call...He is very very tuned in on these transmissions and he will not feed you a load of BS. Just the facts.

I assure you it is time well spent.
