48RE 2nd - 3rd shift point

I have always felt that the shift point on my '06 Ram between 2nd and 3rd is way to soon. It seems to shift out of 2nd way too soon, dropping into third which winds out much longer before shifing into 4th. The only way I can wind out 2nd is to punch the accelerator as soon as it shifts into 2nd. Is there a reflash or something on this scenario? Thanks. Phillip
