Hello all, I am hoping that maybe some one can point me in the right direction on this........

I have a 2003, 3500 srw, that has a crazy issue. A week ago I got the "abs and brake light" and did some research on it and found my right side abs sensor is bad so I know that is an issue and I was going to fix that today, but yesterday I was presented with another fun mystery to solve!!! Started my truck drove it and it felt like it started out in third gear (yes I have had the stupid solenoid issue and just replaced them again for the 3rd time this year) but as I drove the it started shifting fine. I ran my errands and when I stopped and put it in park, got back in it to back up and leave, well that's were it gets bad. It will go in reverse, but won't move, it's like I have the park brake on!!! So after I pushed it backwards with the truck turned off and got to where I could drive and cursing the entire time, I realized it has not shifted! When I looked to make sure I was in drive, well I wasn't I was in neutral, which will drive like it's in first gear!!

So after pulling over, I go through all the gear and 1st, 2nd, and drive all shifts fine. It goes into OD, and if I turn OD off it will turn off and shift down. But reverse and neutral won't do what they should, and try searching for that nothing comes back really of the same caliber.

Could this be the governor sensor and pressure regulator in the pan again causing this? Or am in screwed and need a new trans?

Mine started skipping 1st some time when I would pull out, then started over revving sometimes. Took it to the shop and the pressures were 1/2 of what they needed to be so it needed to be re-built. 200K trouble free miles.

They first thought it was a sensor issue, apparently if the wheel is moving at a certain speed the trans will not shift to first.

Not much help.
