47re to a 48re

47re to a 48re

Hi guys just wondering if I can put a 48 re in place of my 47re without any computer issues. thanks

No, but you can put the larger parts from the 48 in your 47, direct swap-in - more info at PATC

Why could you not interchange them. The only difference I know of is the output shaft size which makes the rear yoke bigger. Should be able to get around that fairly easy.

Ok - my bad - been way in-depth in the 545RFE and the 68RFE for several weeks, got the facts crossed - the 47RE and 48RE should interchange, as they both have electric TCC, o\d and governor, and the 48 has several larger internals - if ya got one, check out the output shaft, use it - if not, check out the Ramzilla goodies at PATC to build one
