My backorder parts are in and my truck is scheduled for Monday after holiday.<br><br>Kcjetchaser, What is the status of your Tranny's check valve? ??? ???

Well they finally got the valve in from dc today. The truck goes in on Monday to be fixed. Can't wait to hook it up to the tt and see how well it tows ;D ;D ;D<br><br> I am sure glad our dealer's service department was able to keep us on the road while waiting for the parts <br><br>From reading some of the other forums the service departments are going to be Busy on Monday <br>

I think if I found out a vehicle was built on a Monday following a holiday I would say find me another, this one does not feel right!<br><br>But, most come from Old Mexico, so when are the holidays there?<br><br>I have heard horror stories on things that go on in assembly lines after holidays etc.<br><br>Hunter<br>

Found out my truck was built a week earlier than first scheduled. Tuesday August 6, the Alignment at 10:58 P.M. the line final signed 22:23 (10:23 P.M.). Finished on swing shift.

Ok Phil<br><br>How do I find out exactly when my truck was built. I know it takes 3 days to complete the cycle. But how do you know when it went in and when it came out and got driven to the truck to go to Laredo?<br><br>Hunter

Hunter,<br><br>Guess I'm just lucky. Dealer left quality control papers in door pocket.<br><br>One sheet is a computer printout (2 pages) with VIN number. At the top is states, "Quality Policy: To be the premier Manufacturing Company in the World" followed by a square for each item of equipment or option on the vehicle, and "P Linea Final IZQ" dated 8/06/02 @18:11 hours.<br><br>A pink card titled: <br>Daimler Chrysler - Hoja Bingo Contencion Dr 2003 - Plant Ensamble Saltillo is filled with squares a kind of check sheet in Spanish, two sided. Date stamped Aug 6 2002.<br><br>A sheet titled: Fori Automation Non-Contact Alignment System dated 8/6/02 which is a printout of the alignment specs with VIN, printout states, "Tuesday, August 06, 2002 10:5817 PM".<br><br>In addition there are 18 pages of body diagrams with time/date stamps on some. <br><br>See photo copy with time stamp:

All is well with the truck now. less than two weeks on the road and 2000 + miles on her. I did add more fluid in the rear diff as I have seen here in the forum on several posts. Check your fluids people! No further complaints on my end. Just wish I could find some aftermarket guages and when K&N gets around to making the air filter I'll be one of the firsts in line.
