#4 injector line?

#4 injector line?

Just ordered a spare from Geno`s.
QUESTION:
How many have had a failure on #4 injector line/clamp?
And how many miles?

Coming up on 110,000 on my '06. I check mine every oil change, and carry a spare, but mine is still holding up. Use to have an '03, but totaled that in an accident around the 60 - 65,000 mile mark. Never had a problem with that one. Seems like it was the '06's that had the problems with the # 4 line.

What you should do is, change it out and save your old one as a spare. The new one is re-designed, so I assume Cummins fixed the issue. I changed mine just recently @ 65000 miles, even though it wasn't broken.

Even checking mine at every oil change it still got me. It was around 85k miles.

Just replace it why wait for the line to crack and spray diesel everywhere.

2004.5 with 178k and no problems with any of my lines.. Just had all of them off to upgrade my rail and replace PRV valve, put them back on and truck runs great..
