36,000 mi. warranty about history

My 36,000 mi. warranty is about to be history 700 miles left . Anything I should look for to fix you know of ? No problems known except a very slight wet spot on my steering box,{would that warrant a replacement?}and the {seems loud to me} rapping noise at low rpm's, not a rocker arm,{dealer says it normal }other trucks I 've noticed don't sound quite the same that bothers me. Sound is from dr. side frt. of engine at the pump area 04.5 .Salesman said It's because I didn't use fuel conditioner at first ,had 8418 miles when I got it. Noise has been there long time now .

If your truck is a 04.5 isn't the warranty a 7/70? I thought the 3/36 started with the 06 model year.

mines 3/36k. 1k left. replacing rear u-joints right now. Maybe you could say you hear a ticking every now and then from the rear and you think it could be something in the rear end. They might actually see a little wear in the u-joint AND they might take the rear end cover off and have to put fluid back in for free since it's time anyway . Just my experience.

I f you bought it new and it's an 04.5 it should have the original 3/36 bumper to bumper, 7/70 power train and 100K Cummins engine warrantys on it. If you bought it used you had to transfer the warranty for any of it to be yours for a small fee, think $100 or so. Most dealers if Doge just transfers the warranty when you buy used but not all.
