7/70 Warranty & History Report

How can I tell if a 2002 Ram 2500 has the 7/70 warranty or not. Was this warranty standard on vehicles built after a certain date. I'm looking at a '02 2500, Quad-Cab with 17K miles, Automatic, VIN-3B7KF23602M252429, can anyone run a history report of any kind on this vehicle for me?
Thanks
Eric

What would be a good to great price, dealers asking $26900.

You might try taking that VIN and calling a different dealer to see if they can tell you about the warranty. I bought my truck at Heritage out in Odessa and they seemed pretty friendly.

Remember the 7/70 warranty is only on the drivetrain....not bumper to bumper.

If you're so inclined, you may want to have the dealer confirm for you that the engine hasn't had a history of "bombing" just in case you have a problem and find out that the CTD warranty is null and void.

I think for about $5k more, you could buy a brand new one.
