Took truck to service dept today and had they see why truck is knocking louder than it was when new. Told me three injectors are bad and have them order. Diesel tech said the performance didnt decrease and I agree with him, it still run great! Just a bit louder than before. Also fuel mileage is the same as always bout 14/17 with 16k miles.

Hopefully after the new ones get installed I can keep the truck running when ordering at drive thrus!!

 

God, I wish your dealer wasn't so far away from my location. Looks like you got a good one. I will bet your mpg goes up with 3 new injectors.

 

I didnt even buy truck from them. Told them truck didnt sound like this when bought and said thought maybe might be injectors. So all of you guys out there that have the knocking and it's louder than before, and just dont sound right. Take it in!!

Diesel tech said he didnt think it was bad fuel with only 16k on the truck. But he could explain either. As long as it's covered under warranty!
