2nd gen faster?

Hello guys, so I'm new to the 3rd gen. Just wondering how they should compare, my 2002 with edge attitude/juce even on level 3 feels like it has infinitely more power than my 2003 with the smarty JR. Are the programs just not that similar? What do I need to do to juice up my 3rd gen a little more? The 2002 drives so much nicer that the 03 Not trying to go crazy just like them to at least be similar. Probably going to add an air dog 165 so im good to go in that department. What else?

It takes a LOT to make the bottom end come alive. I went from a modded 97 5spd to this 03 and it was also a shock. I went to a 4" muffler cuz the 03 oem is terrible and so is the turbo. I changed the turbo and that woke it up a bunch. Still, the 03 would tow the mtns as well as the 97 but the 97 would run circles around the 03 in town. It just didn't have a snappy throttle or bottom end like the 97. A DS predator fixed that, tho... actually a little too snappy on the extreme tune. The 100hp/econ was great for everything, including towing. I have a TST PMCR now and I will probably sell the DS stack/Quad boost fooler before long. Craig

I have a 2003 3500 cummins SLT its extremely fast! You barely push on the gas and it goes. I notice this improvement when I replaced the Mprop or FCA FCA stands for fuel control actuator. My idle smooth out

Wow, well I guess maybe the smarty it's the end all? Heard it's praises sung everywhere haha! I'm happy with it but looking for the power y'all are talking about. Craig, let me know when you want to sell! If it makes that much improvement I'm interested. Who makes a good FCA? Seems like industrial injection made one didn't they?

Genos garage you should call them and tell them about your truck there extremely helpful. They wont just try to sell you something just for a sale
