2006 mega cab trans issue

When I start from a stop thr transmission does not want to shift it will rev to3600 rpm unless you let out of it. Then it will shift and after that it will keep apretty good shift pattern. It has always had a hard shift every once in a yell.Any help would be great. thanks james

Mine started doing that. But I have 37's and someone...wont say who ( cough) hubby ( cough) was abusing my poor truck with the bullydog.
Left it with the dealer and went to Ireland for a few weeks..this was August, they couldn't get it to do it. Sept...it was completely pooched.
Long story short...my dealer is frickin amazing and I got a 5,000 tranny for free despite my mods.

When it comes to transmissions..a little prob GO get it looked at. It just snowballs and will most definitely get worst and in turn cost you more $.

Curious..did you have the dropkit for the TC? With 6in lift on a mega..you def need it.

My transmission was acting funny before the bullydog. And it has had 37s on it...since I got it. 2wks after it was delivered to the dealer I had it lifted and the tires on. So 3yrs later...it was pooched.

Id take it in to be checked. Do you still have a warranty?

A simple gov solenoid and transducer change should cure the problem.
