2006 Apps?

All the posts I found refer to 03-05, and in 06 the APPS moved to the pedal. How do you do a reset? I think I've seen some posts where you can do it with the batteries plugged in, some with the batteries unplugged...?

What's the right procedure? I'd love to try this free option before I buy a Goerend VB to replace my stocker and sensors to eliminate my shuttle shifting.

Thanks guys, and sorry about the redundant question but I really couldn't find it!

This isn't what you are talking about, is it?

Shuttle shifting or hunting in the '06 Auto trucks is due to an issue with the gov pressure valve and the transducer (pressure sensor). If it's under warranty, have dodge do it free. Not under warranty? get a service manual and do it yourself.

I'm planning on doing that. I'm ordering a Goerend VB this week, so that will fix it. I've also read some other issues I'm having could be an APPS as well. I'll probably order a FCA this week just for good measure.

My truck will accelerate for a good 5 seconds after I let off the throttle if I was accelerating hard. A few times now it's made situations become close calls that should have never happened if the engine would cut off as it should. Either way, I'd like to do the APPS reset anyways I just haven't found out if it's the same as 03-05 (which I know how to do), or not?

Do you think it's the Edge doing that?

I've never heard of that before...

I supposed it could be, but it does it when I switch it to off as well. I didn't unwire it completely to eliminate it as a culprit though.
