I've heard the New truck's have something from the Factory to speed up warm up time.
Electronic or Mechanical
Is there any aftermarket system available to warm up the motor in -30* C

Only thing from the factory is the 1000rpm 3-cylinder high idle feature. After about three minutes of idle when certain other parameters are met (no driver input, not in motion, and a few others) the truck will automatically run up to 1000rpm and run on only three cylinders. It's better than nothing, but it won't get you much above the bottom line on the coolant temp gauge.
IMHO----Buy the Mopar winter front----about 160 bucks from the dealer, works great and speed up warm up time by at least double. With the entire cover closed in front,-30 on the highway my temp gauge was riding one need mask above 1/2.As it warms up i will open a flap or two so it doesn't run to warm, plenty of heat.Last year in these cold temps, i was getting little heat without it.My 2 cents---DW

i have a '06, never had it "3 cylinder warm up" it does the 1,000 RPM fast idle tho.
i also have the high idle via cruze enabled, with the block heater plugged in, the mopar cold weather front all closed up, spinning it at 1,500 rpm i can melt a quarter inch of ice off the windshield in about 15 min, and it will be a good 150deg when i get in it.
