Anyone with a new SWB 2005 crew cab let us know if you have the vibration at about 70mph or not. Please post your answers.

New 2005, no vibration

I was going to wait to post info. about my new truck until I got 1k miles on her, but since you asked...

I received the truck on Monday night. As of tonight, I have 297 miles on. Round trip to work is roughly 100 freeway miles. I've worked the engine on side streets and the freeway and the engine/trans as performed flawlessly. I purposely varied the speed between 60-80 and felt no unusual vibes or sounds(just the sweet sound of the turbo on occasion!).

I'll report back on mileage calcs etc. in a few weeks after getting some more miles tacked on. So far, I'm very impressed with my truck.

later...

No vibration - I have a drone sound at about 65mph - I notice it more if the engine is under load - its kinda off and on- in 1 second intervals. Other than that I love this truck! 4,000 miles on it so far.

2k miles in 2 weeks...stiiiillll no vibe, no drone, nothing but smooth. I do notice the suspension is a lot stiffer (bumpier on rough roads) than my '99, but that's more than worth it for the sports-car-like handling. Man I love this truck!!

2005 qaud cab, swb,4x4. No vibration here. I have read old posts about it and have tried to find some kind of vibration at different speeds, and no luck. Thank God.
