Hi Guys, got stranded on the side of the highway last night @ 11:30. All of a sudden my truck went into nuetral, I thought I just hit a patch of ice so let off the throttle and hit it again and same thing and pulled off to the side of the road. The truck wouldn't go into any gear at all. I shut the truck off and then started it back up and then it worked just fine for about 20-30 seconds or a few city blocks and then would just slip back into neutral and not go into any gear untill you shut the truck off again and start it back up.

Any idea's?

I just had the engine rebuilt @ a shop and then they also serviced the trans with new filters and fluid and such.

Please help.

 

The trans is an automic and after being at the shop has 200-300 miles on it all.
