I would ****** that thing up as quick as I could, then yank the GOOD reliable 12 valve out of "my rusty 93" and perform a transplant. Then you have you're 3rd gen with all the "nice-aties" and the reliable 12v power and fuel milage.
Man if ran onto a deal like that I'd be all over it with my 90 as the donor.

I'm still considering that. I REALLY DON'T need another project right now while I'm rehabbing a house and clearing 20nacres, BUT it sure is tempting. I haven't rules it out and am going to look at the engine tomorrow or Friday.

Someone else got it ( a used truck dealer, I believe) before I made up my mind. Just as well - I'm knee deep in rehabbing a house nearly seven hundred miles away.
