How many are using one,will go to using one? If so should this be a manufacture retro fit or a owners issue?

 

I'm planning in the near future to use Glacier Diesel's 2 micron filter kit with their Walbro lift pump.

I think any retro of fuel system ought to be on D.C.

 

I would go to one if it was a drop in filter. To me this is a design flaw so D.C. should correct the issue. Love to have one, just don't want to pay for it myself when it is not my fault.

 

I BOUGHT four fuel filters back when from Geno's ALL of course 10 micron.Have used ONE so far.Guess the other three are good for the trash now.

 

I do too, but I know they aren't going to do it, at least not until I have many thousands more miles on the truck, which by then could be too late, so I'm running Glacier Diesel Power's 2-micron filter and big line kit.

Don't trash them. I'll buy them from you. I don't mind using the 10-micron filter in front of my 2-micron filter.

Since you installed your 2 Micron filter setup how is your fuel pressure. At idle and under a heavy load? My pressure is 10 PSI at idle and around 5 PSI at a heavy load.

 

I really doubt DC will do anything. Just look at the lift pumps issues.....

I don't know, I haven't got around to installing my Commander yet. I'm waiting of the A-pillar mount.
