You can go to 1oz per gal. This is what I run in my 03 and 4oz of desel treat per gal from Howes. I jest drove 845 miles with the weight of 22.900+ pounds getting 13.7 miles per gal.

4oz of Diesel Treat would be a gallon of it every fill-up. You don't really add that much do you?

just be sure you use the ashless 2 stroke oil i use 1 oz per gallon of fuel at fill up
