06 WOT miss sometimes
Hi,
I have an 06 with about 15k miles. I have a 48RE. Everything is stock except a Quadzilla instrument. I had an XZT for a while but have taken it off. Since I got this truck new, once in a while under WOT it seems to have a miss like it is losing fuel. I watch the rail pressure and it stay constant or steadily increases, so it doesnt seem like a fuel problem. Could it be the transmission slipping or the converter slipping? It is a slight miss and it is random when it happens. It seems like the motor runs up to about 3200rpm slipping the converter while the truck is accellerating, so thats what leads me to believe maybe it is the trans or converter. When this doesnt happen the truck is very fast and smooth.
Do you have any advice or ideas? I have replaced the fuel filter twice and never have any water in the fuel.
Thanks

More info. I installed a Quadzilla fuel pressure sender to the banjo bolt on the CP3. I am getting 5psi at idle, 6 psi cruising and I have seen it go down to 1psi WOT. I have not seen over 6psi under any circumstances. Is this reasonable for a stock truck? Or is this probably the source of my problem? If it is I will install a Glacier walbro kit I guess.
Thanks
Thanks
