i have an 06 mega 4x4, as i was fixing to turn into a parking lot, it made a hissing noise and instantly, no power steering. the brakes also seemed a little funny. no leaks, no belt problems, fluid is fine. does anyone know what my problem is?

 

Hydra Boost?????? That would be my guess from your description. I think it effects brakes & steering but not 100% sure.

 

i added a little fluid today and now its not to bad turning to the left but still hard as a rock turning to the right.

 

Steering box control valve, had a few trucks with same issue this month. Replaced steering box and all was well again.
