06 dodge 2500 transmission help

I got a 06 2500 auto. The truck will idle up like it wants to keep going when I put it in drive or reverse u have to hold the brakes pretty hard to hold it back which sounds to me like it's the torque convertor. I took it to the transmission shop and had them look at it at the time the ecm was acting up. He said the transmission needed rebuilt so I said go ahead when I got the truck back it was still doing it. He said there's nothing wrong with the transmission that it was engine related. I assumed it was the ecm bec it was giving trouble so I replaced it with a new ecm and it fixed all the problems with the truck acting up and shutting off but it's still trying to pull hard when in drive and reverse like the torque converter is bad when u drop it into neutral it revs up . Is there anything else it can be as far as engine related or is my transmission man trying to pull one on me any help would be appreciated thanks

My 06 did the same thing ended up being the torque converter. I had an ATS transmission installed.

Thanks alot guys I took it back to the transmission shop today for the second time and he said he will figure out what it is but he didn't think it was the transmission. I just think he don't want to admit to him being wrong.
