I have a 2006 5.9 3500 mega cab. I just install a pricol boost gauge. The most I have seen it read was 26-28 lbs and once it gets it, it stays for about a split sec then drops to like 24lbs. Could this be cause of hte tranny shifting?

 

My 06 will peak at like 33-34lbs and run around 30 full throttle. I have no programmer yet. Just intake and exhaust.

mine is completely stock except for no silence ring and no baffels in the air intake. Could that be why there isnt much boost?

That's pretty much how mine runs. It'll spike to ~28, then settle at 20-22psi.

I can hit and hold 38 to 40 with the Edge. You need a boost fooler at minimum to get above the 30 mark. The Edge takes care of that.
