My Dad's 05 began acting up recently. The 1-2 shift doesn't occur until around 2500 RPM; I haven't ridden in it yet with the problem, I'm just going by what he said. All other gears shift normally, and lockup occurs like usual.

I checked the codes and got:

p0514 (battery temp low, no big deal)

p1751 (?)

p1754 (?)


Does the check engine light come on whenever it throws a code?

I drove the truck, and I'm pretty sure it's not shifting to 2nd. It shifts out of first, into third, at around 22mph. Any ideas? Anyone know what the codes are?

It's going to go to the dealer tomorrow; I'd like to have an idea what's wrong before it goes.
