I would be interested in that as well, if it's better there will be an 04.5 for sale. Are the 05's out yet??

Btw, you may not want to type in all caps anymore. It doesn't bother me at all, but some folks around here REALLY take offense to it and will take it personally for some reason.

No one that I know has taken delivery of an '05 yet. As soon as I get mine I will post MPG data.

How did you guys get a "scheduled to ship" date? I called DC last week and they said my truck is sitting in storage waiting for the next load to go out, but when I asked about an ETA they said they didn't have any. I guess I should call and pester them again. Did you use the normal customer service 800# to find this out?

I feel your pain, I havn't done it but I bet if I were to drive an entire tank of fuel out in town that my mileage would be around 7.5 mpg.

Hey my build date was the 23rd... I hope the train didn't leave that weekend and leave my truck collecting dust until the next one's full! I left my von/vin at work, so I'll call them in a bit and see if they have an ETA finally... I got butterflies just thinkin about it

I've got 3 or 4 05's sitting on the lot all ready, none have sold yet though. I'll tell ya what pee's me off. I have one 04' 3500 dually still sitting at the plant in storage for some reason. I got 05's here and all my 04's aren't here yet.

Luke S,

Do you know if there are or if there will be further power increases in the '05's?

Thanks.

It's already been reported that the 05's hitting the market have also been 600's. So no, the power hasn't changed. Although I've heard reports that the '05 600 is more responsive than the '04.5. I'm about to go test drive a couple and see how they compare... gotta do something while I'm waiting for mine to get here!

update: I went to test drive an '05 today and sat around for an HOUR waiting for the salesman to find the truck (that i already spotted before i got there), then go get the keys, etc... finally said screw it and left after he disappeared for 15 minutes looking for keys. Anyways, will try another dealership less frustrating and try the 70mph cruise MPG test and get back to y'all later.
