05 Cummins- is it worth it?

2005 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins
Crew Cab Long bed
2 Wheel Drive
Blue Exterior
Cloth
Electric windows(I think one back one doesn't work)
184k miles
Tires are in good shape
Body of the truck is in fair condition, but does have dents and scrapes.
Motor runs, but has significant blow by, sounds ruff till it warms up
Drives good, but is difficult to get out of park.

$3500

Depends on your mechanical ability and desire to do some maintenance. If you have to depend on a garage or dealer to do all the work then it may not be worth it. Body work, window repair, and other small cosmetic problems you may fix yourself. Engine transmission work could cost easily over $10k. Have a qualified or experienced mechanic check it out first. This is not a lot of miles for a Cummins, could be a good buy.
