05 cummins smoke coming from breather

05 cummins smoke coming from breather

I have a 2005 dodge cummins 3500 with 92k miles and i notice a little bit of smoke coming from crankcase breather is this normal

you do not have your sig filled out. a little is normal. with sig filled out we can see if you have something on there like a K&N air filter that is dusting your engine

Sorry im new lol its all stock exept for edge juice with attitude ran on level 1 for fuel mileage

I do not think you have any problems but you do need to dump the edge and get a smarty jr. the edge causes the egt's to get to high and other problems on the 04.5 up trucks. the smarty will lower egt by 250* below stock on your 05. just load the program, all default options and level 2 power sometimes called tow mode

My only issue is everyone i talked to said that the smarty is bad for an auto transmission and the edge defuels between shifts

Nothing wrong with edge , I've had mine on for 8 years , 85,000 miles, no issues ever , may not be as well liked as a smarty but just as good if used with common sense , not bashing smarty at all , there great no dought ,same with any programer, doesn't matter who's you have abuse it and you will tear s€%t up, that being said , when was the last time you changed the filter? If never it might be time to or try cleaning it.

X2, use your gauges and warning indicators. Use common sense as you stated.
