04 stock tranny cooler
I'm buying an 04 CTD 2500 auto and am wondering if the stock tranny cooler is adequate? Is this something I need to replace if I occasionally will tow heavy loads? This is my first CTD and I'm pumped!

There are actaully two tranny coolers. The air to oil cooler up front and a coolant to oil one at the back of the engine on the driver's side.

BTW welcome to the diesel world.

The factory cooler is huge. it will be fine.
