04 Dodge ram 2500, Diesel shifting problem.

I have a 04 ram 2500. 48re trans. It started not shifting to 1st gear , like it was getting stuck in 2nd. When I would come to a stop. dropped the pan and found a broken snapp ring from a clutch pack. removed the tranny and had it rebuilt. put it back in and the truck is doing the same thing. Any clues?

Did they replace the governor pressure solenoid and transducer? That is what was wrong with it. Heard of a few snap rings breaking and ending up in the pan from the overdrive unit.
