03 Trans 6 Speed
my buddies 4x4 3500 6speed is making some nasty noises i think is the throw out bearing he had just done the clutch and didn't replace the throw out bearing
how hard and how long does it take to remove trans and what is a quick way to remove

typically 3-1/2 hours to 4 hours from start to finish. mine was 3 hrs with a tranny jack & in my driveway when i put my SBC con ofe in.
if you know what you are doing.
ALWAYS replace everything while you are in there.
$40 bearing just cost him a saturday might want to ask him if it was worth it? remember to lightly grease the input shaft and pilot bearing . a little lube goes a long ways in keeping thigns smooth
