03 stalling out

this started yesterday as i was leaving a friend's house my truck started acting like it was going to die. It wasn't surging it was just like it was shutting off but catch just before it shut down and would go back to idle. Fuel filter is good, about a year ago i changed all 6 injectors and 6 months prier i replaced the lift pump and put it in the tank it was originally on the filter housing it also seems to be running with a lean condition at idle and not showing any codes or check engine light. From what Ive read the cam position sensor only helps the truck start is this true?

Fuel Control Actuator. Get it from cummins for around $100.It is what regulates the fuel inlet on the cp-3.Its mounted on the back of the cp-3,held on with 3 tox screws(has an electrical connector). What you described are symptoms of a faulty fca.Takes just a couple minutes to change out.
