Its on the engine data tag on the throttle position sensor housing.

It will list the max hp at whatever rpm

is there any reason the 3rd gen edge ez box won't work on this motor(the multiple setting one),and would it bring the hp and torque up the same as non cali and MA motors?

MA, ME and CA were the 3 non-HO states in 03. NY & VT came aboard in 04.

Which box are you talking about? The Edge Comp?

I have the same engine with Edge EZ. It really wakes up the motor.

so basically any of the plugin boxes will work, the MA engines are just de-tuned more than other SO engines? that edge juice box looks nice(haven't evevn driven my truck for over an hour yet and already my brain runs wild w/ power upgrades)

CA 03's also had a cat while other states did not require them. I do not believe you can get an EDGE Juice for an 03? I might be wrong.

Mike67RS is correct no juice for the 03's. All boxes specified for 03 trucks are compatable with SO or HO motors.

so, the edge ez will work, the comp might work, and the juice won't.then why on the main page of this site does it list the juice for 03 models?i saw nothing concerning what state they were from or power outputs, only something about the 04.5 600.unless this meant it works only on 600 equipped models

The only Edge product for the 03 and early 04's is the EZ. I had an EZ for 80K and it was great. Then I got the Ramifier it is in cab adjustable and has a lot more power for when you want or need it. Now I have the BDDL and Ramifer stacked which really runs well.
