A few years ago (5) I decided to go out all with an engine swap into my F-350. I am now considering a mechanical Cummins engine instead. I would rather part this out, then take a huge loss.

I purchased a stock 07.5 6.7 Cummins with little over 100K on it, from the classifieds on one the forums. It was pulled from a totaled but still drive-able G56 4x4. After I got it I started stripping everything off emissions, etc. and started purchasing upgrades. I wanted to do everything to the engine that could be done why it was out so I never need to touch the engine again. I was shooting for a reliable 650hp daily driver with good fuel economy.

I did try and paint the engine 4 years ago neon green...that didn’t take. I did something wrong in the prep, etc. and it started flaking off bad. The engine needs to be stripped and repainted, stripping should be easy since it mostly flakes off. The other negative is due to sitting for a while the internal water passages are rusty. The inside of the engine looks new due to the coating of oil on it.

I have everything that came with the engine (original alternator, etc.) as well as the upgraded items. The head has the springs in it but the valves and injectors are not installed (injectors are still sealed from exergy). I did remove the head freeze plugs and installed screwed in plugs.

I never decided on what turbo I was going to run, so I only have stock turbo/manifold. The ECU is already programmed with a tune from Anarchy diesel to run without skim, etc. While, I am not ready to part out a piece at time if you are interested in in a big chunk but not others I would consider that.
