Yes another cracked dash thread

I got my new one today. Mine started cracking about 2 yrs after I bought the truck new. I thought I was getting hit by rocks on the windshield but it was the plastinc cracking. right now I have only enough dash to hold the bezel on and I've lost a lot of stuff into the maze of wires.
LMC $424 after shipping with dash, guage bezel, new vents and a set of oversized washers for the mounting screws. The plastic is a little different color but the overall quality seemed good. I'm taking tomorrow off work to install it.

Curious, LMC online showing $199 for the dash?
Whats the warranty on the LMC dash?

Genos has one for $329 with a limited lifetime warranty.

I grew up in the southwest and remember how quickly dash boards cracked and split back when they were made of padded vinyl.

Upon moving to the Pacific Northwest in 92 I was amazed at what great shape car and truck interiors were in. I'd see cars from the 60's-80's with perfect interiors.

Its the sun and heat that does in the ABS. Protect your new one with 303 aerospace protectant.

But what does the salt do to the outside? I'm originally from Buffalo, nice new car would be a rot box in a few years. Guess there are trade off's to where ever we live huh?!

Show us some pictures when you get a chance. I am really pleased with the light gray one I got from LMC. It looks great and now I don't have to worry about stuff falling through the dash anymore.
