Does the wiper motor spin in just one direction?
Or does it spin back and forth?

I'm trying to get my wipers working and cant seem to see how the wipers work on my 96 2500. I thought I had a bad motor but I put a new one in and can't seem to get it working properly.

I think my passenger side wiper pivot point is sticking badly, but I don't see how the wipers should work?

I had to remove the cover on the steering wheel and clean the connector terminal for the Multi_switch that controls the wipers. Not too big a deal but need a special Torx driver with the little dimple in the middle to remove it.
Sorry can't recall the exact size of the bit. I have a 97 2500 so should be similar.

I think it spins in one direction and the linkage pivots direction.
I hooked 12 volts to the terminals to test the motor b4 I started trouble shooting the wiring. Wiring is a pita imo.

 

Only gos in one direction.
