I've been dealin with window gremlins for a little while now. Here's the problem.


When the window gets about halfway up it seems to bog down. I narrowed it down to when the front of the window hits the weatherstripping, it bogs down. Right after it leaves the front runner and actually runs up the door by the mirror. For fun I sprayed some wd-40( which will probably eat it away) into there to see if it was the problem and it was. The weatherstripping is binding up the window. I'm just wondering if anyone else has this problem. It killed my motor and I replaced the motor and regulator today, I just don't want this to keep killing window motors. Atleast I got one with a lifetime warranty. But I've gotten real fast at replacing these motors!!!

 

Try using aerosol silicone lube. It lasts a long time and won't eat up your seals.
In fact it will preserve them. Great for door seals also.
