i was checking out my truck today and noticed a tube running from the front axle to the front passenger wheel well it mus tblong there because its connected to the axle and clipped the the frame but is goes no where. its just a line with what looks like a vented cap or some kind of plug on it. should that be connected to something or is that like a over flow valve?

 

breather for the front diff. maybe?

you didnt say where on the front axle it goes to, but my breather goes right up near my airbox/passenger fenderwell.

yeah it was just below the air box by the spring i moved it to the engine side of the wheel well thanks for the info
