What's the difference in a 2001 and 2001.5

I just bought a 2001 cummins sport package and was wondering what the difference is between a 2001 and 2001.5? It was manufactured in 06/01 so it's a 01.5 but don't know what the difference is. Thanks. Also is the sport package simply painted bumbers and things or are there any "mechanical" differences?

Like stated above...rear disks but there might be some subtle changes like hood liner, fender well inserts, etc.

Far as I know, there's no mechanical differences with the Sport package, basically just an appearance package.

Sport gets the quad beam headlights and color matched bumpers and bump strips and a Sport sticker designation. The 01.5 has a two piece bump strip on the quad cab, no rear cup holders, a chrome antenna and no illumination for the key at the ignition. Discs on the rears were the big difference. Some trucks are hybrids as the parts were introduced as the old parts were used up so some 01.5's may have some of the deleted parts listed.

01.5 is when the flip up tow mirrors became an option as well.

Like SixSlug said above there is always a bit of overlap in parts availability. That's how we got 12v QC's after all.

Mine is an 01.5 with rear discs, cup holder, rear wheel liners, and flip up mirrors. I got all the good stuff.
