I agree, go to the states to pick up your truck. I'm from Ottawa, Ontario. It's a little bit of a hassle to deal with custom and MTO but it's not that bad. You can't be in a rush. I bought one last year, a nice looking 98.5 2500 quad with absolutly no rust and 130K miles on it for $12K. I did have to add a few mods for fuel pressure and steering.

i live in manitoba,all my trucks/cars come from the south,you can never get rid of rust these trucks do not wear out they rust away in the north,time spent to pick them up is well worth it.
