Most common water leak is from the upper cab brake light.
Water ends up on the pass front floor.
Silicone or a new seal from the dealer fixes it right up.

Also, make sure your HVAC drain is clear (right side firewall in the engine bay), otherwise the heater/condenser box will fill with rainwater and drain into the truck.

Check to see if the A/C drain line has came off.
Without the hose the water will not drip away from the nipple but instead will cling to the nipple and run back into the cab through the firewall.
The drain line comes out of the firewall on the passenger side just below the accumulator/drier.
If you can't see the hose feel around below and behind the drier. You'll probably find the nipple without the hose. I took a section of garden hose, heated it in boiling water, stretched the end of the hose a bit and forced it over the nipple. This piece of hose has been on ever since.
Here is a pic of the nipple from another member's post

Thanks Ron, I guess I was a bit too vague...

My 98 had the same exact problem a few years ago. My drain tube was completely filled with mud. I cleaned it out and put it back on, no problems since.

Yea I thought my drain tube was plugged when my floor got wet. I crawled around under that truck forever looking for a tube before I figured out that mine had fallen off.

Chrysler used to install a 90 deg soft rubber fitting on the end of the hard drain tube. The rubber was fattened on the end to keep baby mice out. However after long periods of hot dry weather the rubber used to stick together forming a plug and the heater plenum would fill up with condensation from the AC. They stopped installing them a few years ago
