Water inside door

I pulled my door panel off the other day to mess with my speakers, and I noticed that there was a lot of water on the inside of the door. Maybe not a lot, but more than I thought there should be though. It was starting to puddle up in between the outer and inner door pieces. Checked the passenger side and noticed the same thing. Any ideas? Thanks yall.

bb, do your rubber lips on the outside of the window rust or not seal right?

I don't know whether your truck also has these little holes on the lowest point of the doors, mine has and they were plugged with a kind of wax. I assume that the wax had melted and plugged the outlet. A short piece of steel wire and they were open again.

The lips and rubber seals are in good shape. Don't know bout the holes. I'll check them out in a little bit. Thanks.

Re:Water inside door

I would look at the wholes to see if there plugged. Certain rustproofing can seep causing the holes to get plugged. I ended up using some parts washer fluid to brake it up and then sprayed some rust inhibitor inside through the drain holes to make sure they were clear. It may have been how you had the truck sitting as well, front of the truck down or visa versa.

Good Luck
